World Cancer Day 2015

Hi Friends,

4th February is Celebrated as World Cancer Day. The theme for 2015 is "Not Beyond Us" i.e. World Cancer Day 2015 will take a positive and proactive approach to the fight against cancer, highlighting that solutions do exist across the continuum of cancer, and that they are within our reach.

The 2015 World Cancer Day Emphasis on:

-- Choosing healthy lives
-- Delivering early detection
-- Achieving treatment for all
-- Maximising quality of life

This is our small effort to promote the awareness about Cancer. All colours that are used in this ZIA are colours of ribbons for various types of cancer.

  • Yellow Ribbon – Bone Cancer
  • Blue & Pink Ribbon  – Male Breast Cancer
  • Pink Ribbon – Breast Cancer
  • Dark Blue Ribbon – Colon Cancer
  • Orange Ribbon  – Kidney Cancer Association
  • Light Blue Ribbon – Prostate Cancer
  • Jade Ribbon – Liver Cancer
  • Lime Green Ribbon – Non – Hodgkins Lymphoma
  • Purple Ribbon – Gynecologic (Cervical) Cancer
  • Black  Ribbon – Melanoma
  • Dark Green Ribbon – Kidney Cancer or Renal Cell Carcinoma
  • Burgundy Red Ribbon - Oral Cancer

We have also clubbed the "Thats New To Me Challenge Week#5" within this tangle of World Cancer Day. This week's challenge was to use the word "M". The new tangles from "M" include: MaelstormMoon RocksMorning GloriesMsst. We also used MeerMooka which we already knew from before. Some other tangles have also been incorporated in this design.

As you all know, we are two of us at Tanglicious Connections, so we plan to do one more entry for "Thats New To Me Challenge". Normally, we would have done it under one roof, however, this had to go on today as its "World Cancer Day" today.

Please do share this ZIA to spread awareness.

Keep Tangling & Connecting With Us,

Love,

Tanglicious Connections.
